Using Fiverr To Help Your Blogging Business
Fiverr can be a wonderful resource for a blogger who is just getting started. It’s a little stressful to think about all of the things you need to get done (at least it was for me)! With Fiverr you can get just about any service imaginable starting at just $5.00! When starting a new blog (learn how to start a money making blog here with Bluehost) you may want a logo to help make your blog more recognizable to your audience. This is where Fiverr helped us out the most! It is highly likely that you will find yourself overwhelmed with all the tasks you must complete. Being able to have quality work done at an affordable price was a major time saver for us! In addition to a logo, you can have someone design your WordPress site, create content for your social media account, and even write guest blog posts for you. The options seem endless!
We have used Fiverr for several things including our logo and we could not be happier. To have a design company create a logo for you can cost hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. We received the same results for a fraction of the price and in only 2 days! We also purchased the social media image kit and copyrights for the work! Our total ended up being around $60 and it was worth every penny!
Use this link for my readers to get 20% off of your first order! Be sure to take full advantage of this and make sure you order everything you think you’ll need to get up and running! I recommend the logo and social media kit, as well as the copyrights to these.
Follow the steps below to get started with Fiverr:
To place an order on Fiverr, simply go to the Fiverr website and create an account. Hover over the categories across the top to see the sub categories below each one. Select the option that best describes what you are looking for. You may be asked a couple of questions to help narrow down the results. You will then be presented with gigs that best suits your needs. From this page you can see the artist name, level, rating, and starting price. You can click on each gig to see more information about the work and artist as well as examples of previous content they have completed for others.
You will typically have three packages to choose from in each gig: basic, standard, and premium. As you would expect, with each step up in category, the price goes up as well. You should read all the details and look closely at the reviews before selecting a gig as they can differ greatly. I recommend looking for someone with a lot of good reviews while still in your price range. Make sure their previous designs are something closely resembling what you are looking for. Once you have narrowed down your selection, contact the designer and discuss the details of your order. This way you can both ask any questions you may have prior to purchasing the gig.
Once you have made your purchase, you can expect to wait. How long? That depends on the delivery time of the gig you chose, but once you are nearing the end of that time period, the designer will send you your design. Most designers will allow a number of revisions, some even offer an unlimited number. If you chose such a gig, you can request any changes you may desire. Once you are happy with the design you will make payment and rate the designer if you wish. These designers rely heavily on reviews as that is how they gain position and ratings so that they can get more business. In my experiences these designers will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. Being business owners ourselves, we greatly appreciate this which is why we recommend using them!
